Graze nibble box

My weekly Graze box arrived today :-)

This is a good one!

I received basil & garlic olives, very fresh and tasty.
Tandoori spiced beef jerky with pomegranate chutney, loved this! Quite spicey but it combines nicely with the sweet chutney.
Strawberries & cream granola topper, this one was my least favorite. The crunchy strawberry bits with the yoghurt is really nice, but with the granola i find it a bit dry.
and lemon curd flapjacks, one word delicious!

Thanks Graze!

Hope you are all enjoying yours xxx

Loreal La Palette Nude Rose Review

This is a really nice eye shadow palette. I brought is at Boots for 14.99 pounds and you get quite a lot of shades for that price.
I really like that it is 'natural' shades, and can be used for every day looks that's not too heavy. You can also smoke a plain eye up with the darker shade. So it is quite universal, which is key to value for your money :-).
The eye shadows itself is really easy to apply to your eye, and you don't need to use too much of it, so hopefully this means it will last long as well!

So this is what it looks like:

Very Tasty Vanilla Condensed Milk Cupcakes!

Hi everyone!

So today I decided to share this amazing recipe with you all :-)
This is really something for that sweet tooth (I have a whole mouth full of them...).

The cupcake it self is not that sweet, it is really tasty and moist. The icing on the other hand is quite sweet, so I guess you could use any other type you would like if you prefer something with less sugar.

I got this recipe off of the label on the Carnation squeeze condensed milk bottle from Asda (or any other grocery store), or you can check on their website www.carnation.co.uk

So here's what you need:

Cupcakes:
125g Plain Flour
250g Carnation condensed milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
85g buttery spread (I just use softened butter)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Frosting:
200g Icing Sugar
55g buttery spread
few drops vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp carnation condensed milk
4 boxes Nestle mini smarties (optional for decorations)

 Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. (160 degrees C for fan ovens, Gas Mark 4).
2. Beat flour, condensed milk, egg, vanilla, baking powder and buttery spread until pale and fluffy.
3. Spoon mixture into 12 muffin cases.
Bake for 15-18 min. until springy and golden.
    Allow to cool
4. Beat icing sugar, buttery spread and vanilla with enough condensed milk to make a smooth creamy     icing.
Spread spread unto cakes and top with smarties (or your choice of decoration).

Enjoy!!! :-)

These are my cupcakes with the original icing recipe:

These are the same cupcake recipe, but with chocolate Betty Crocker butter cream icing and some condensed milk drizzled on top, that I made for Christmas 2014:
